The BINIC Superior Zirconia Flap Discs are high-performance abrasives delivering optimum stock remova l performance on high-powered angle grinders at high contact pressures. Applications include steel works, stainless steel (inox), sheet metal, tool steels, heat-treated steels, weld seams, chamfering, and surface grinding on steel. Suitable for aggressive use on heavy-duty applications.

The premium zirconium grain on a durable polyester-cotton backing provides fast cutting action and long life. The support of the abrasive band consists of cotton which shows an outstanding removal rate and is excellent without clogging up. With a glass-fiber backing, it is characterized by a grinding finish up to the complete consumption of the abrasive grain. As a result, no scratches on the workpiece will appear.

These superior discs delivers the highest economic value through greater performance per time unit, less wear on the zirconium flap disc and reduced set-up times. The abrasive grain is extremely tough, without being too hard, giving the disc very good all-purpose characteristics. With a glass fiber backing, it is characterized by an even grinding finish until all of the abrasive grain has been worn away.
